EPL: Leicester City 0-3 Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha celebrates scoring Crystal Palace’s second goal

Christian Benteke and Wilfried Zaha were on target as Crystal Palace continued their revival with a 3-0 win at 10-man Leicester City.

Palace scored their first away goals of the season to come away from the King Power Stadium with all three points.

Roy Hodgson's men completely outplayed Claude Puel's in-form Foxes and were completely deserving of their victory at the full-time whistle.

The Eagles got off to the perfect start when striker Benteke rose to meet an Andros Townsend cross to beat Kasper Schmeichel and make it 1-0.

The Danish goalkeeper may feel he should have done better, but the header was low and awkward for him.

Five minutes before half-time Palace were able to double their lead. The impressive Zaha latched on to a Benteke pass before showing exceptional footwork in the box to create space, firing a low finish past Schmeichel to send Palace 2-0 up at the interval.

Things went from bad to worse for the Foxes in the second half when Wilfred Ndidi was shown a second yellow card for a woeful dive on the hour mark.

The midfielder could have no complaints and it put Leicester in a difficult position. Puel's men huffed and puffed, but were unable to really test the Palace back-line.

As the game drew to a close, Palace got their third goal. Following a break, Ruben Loftus-Cheek picked out Bakary Sako who whipped home an emphatic finish from the edge of the box.
