This is how it all started out in 2004 with Edymarc Productions, we didn't have much to offer in those days.
Peer to peer software was not around then and all you had to offer were a list of Windows media streams & Real Player streams.
You could not guarantee anything, nobody knew who was broadcasting what, when, and for how long.
These streams seem to feature ESPN Asia or it's sister station StarSports Asia, however all that was going to change with the arrival of peer to peer technology.


As the old website started to get popular we needed to change it's name to something people could remember, and when this man made the front pages of the newspapers in England, we found our new name.
His ex wife who was jealous of him winning £1,250,000 on the national lottery bought a white rat and named it after him.


White Rat Films was born, we started streaming full movies with Quicktime software in 2007, this was very popular even though you could not watch the movie in fullscreen, the online webplayer was the size of the screen so you could get the video as big has possible without cropping the picture, this of course was to come later with the arrival of Flash Player 9.
The Sports streams and the Movies parted company with White Rat Tv beginning broadcasts on Window Media streams. This picture on the right is from Oxford Utd v Exeter in the Blue Square Premier league click here . We started using Sopcast, then Tvants, and then ending up by using Streamtorrent , and now we are back on Sopcast.


Now with the White Rat Films website closing down because it was getting too much trafic, the web hosts were wanting us to take out a more expensive package with them, we refused and the site was closed down.
