FA Cup: Barnsley v Blackpool preview

Barnsley v Blackpool preview

Barnsley head coach Paul Heckingbottom is expected to make one or two changes for his side's FA Cup replay against Blackpool.

Heckingbottom has no new injury or suspension problems following Saturday's defeat at Fulham, but several players are pushing for recalls.

Striker Adam Armstrong, on loan from Newcastle, could be handed his first start since the end of November and midfielder George Moncur made his first appearance off the bench at the weekend since returning from his loan spell at Peterborough.

Winger Saidy Janko and midfielder Sessi D'Almeida (knee) are still out, while defender Andy Yiadom is on international duty with Gabon.

Blackpool defender Tom Aldred is available after the club's successful appeal against his straight red card in Saturday's goalless draw at Cambridge.

Midfielder Brad Potts was forced off late on in the same game due to a hamstring problem and is doubtful.

Manager Gary Bowyer has no other new injury concerns and is otherwise expected to select from the same squad.

Midfielder Colin Daniel (hamstring) remains the Tangerines' only other absentee.
