Millwall v Watford preview

Millwall pulled off one of the results of the third round after beating Bournemouth 3-0 and they welcome Watford on Sunday looking to upset another Premier League side.

Neil Harris' men are unbeaten in all competitions since December 17 and will have a spring in their step after a compulsory purchase order (CPO) for the land containing The Den was abandoned this week.

Semi-finalists last season, Watford have used the transfer window to increase their options in attack and will be hoping to improve their fortunes after a miserable run of two wins from ten games in all competitions

 

Shaun Hutchinson and Harry Smith will be the only absentees from Millwall's squad.

In an otherwise fully-fit squad, the clash with The Hornets comes a game too soon for Hutchinson, whilst Smith is nursing a dead leg picked up in the Under-23's 3-0 victory over QPR.

Defender Jake Cooper made his debut in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bradford City in the Sky Bet League One clash and is set to retain his place in the Lions' back-line. Jed Wallace, another of Millwall's January transfer window signings, is also able to play in the tie.

Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has bolstered his front line with Mauro Zarate signing from Fiorentina and M'Baye Niang joining on loan from AC Milan.

Christian Kabasele should return after suffering from cramp, as should Nordin Amrabat, Isaac Success and Adrian Mariappa.

Valon Behrami is a major doubt due to a hamstring injury, while Roberto Pereyra is sidelined with a knee problem.
