FA Cup: Sutton Utd v AFC Wimbledon preview

Sutton Utd v AFC Wimbledon preview

AFC Wimbledon return to Sutton's Gander Green Lane, where they played their first match after being formed in 2002.

Jeffrey Monakana could make his full Sutton debut when they host neighbours AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup.

The former Arsenal trainee, who has also had spells with Brighton, Preston and Aberdeen, joined the Conference club just before Christmas and is eligible to play in the competition.

Ben Jefford suffered a hamstring injury against Bromley last week but is cup-tied anyway.

Goalkeeper Ross Worner will face the club where he made more than 50 appearances in two seasons.

Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley has no fresh injury or suspension concerns as they make the short trip to the Borough Sports Ground on Saturday.

The Dons have a "couple of niggles" in the squad but Ardley expects them to be fine in time to be included.

Chris Whelpdale (groin) has started running in training and is expected to feature for the reserve team next week.

Will Nightingale remains sidelined due to a knee injury.
