FA Cup: West Brom v Derby preview

West Brom v Derby preview
West Brom are waiting on final clearance to play Allan Nyom in their FA Cup match with Derby after he was left out of Cameroon's squad for the African Nations Cup.
The Baggies are without Jonny Evans who is still struggling with the calf injury which forced him off in Monday's 3-1 win over Hull while Chris Brunt is a doubt with a knock.
Goalkeeper Ben Foster is likely to be rested with Boaz Myhill set for his first senior start since August while youngsters Sam Field and Jonathan Leko are expected to be included in the squad but Saido Berahino is still regaining fitness.
Steve McClaren believes that Derby County duo Ikechi Anya and Marcus Olsson will only be out of action with short-term hamstring injuries.
The pair picked up their respective injuries either side of the New Year to add what is currently a lengthy list of absentees in the Rams squad.
Also out of action are Craig Forsyth (knee), Max Lowe (groin), George Thorne (leg), James Wilson (knee) and Nick Blackman (knee), in addition to Will Hughes and Jacob Butterfield who are also serving suspensions.
Scotland international Anya sustained his injury in the 3-0 loss at Norwich City on Monday, while Swedish defender Olsson was injured early in the 1-0 victory against Birmingham City at the end of December.
Both players are to miss Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at West Bromwich Albion, but McClaren is confident of them returning to action sooner rather than later.
West Brom squad: Myhill, Palmer, Nyom, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Wilson, Brunt, Galloway, Gardner, Yacob, Fletcher, Phillips, Chadli, McClean, Morrison, Field, Rondon, Robson-Kanu, Leko.
