Manchester United v Hull preview

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba David de Gea and Antonio Valencia are set to return to Manchester United's starting line-up when they take on Hull City in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The quartet did not play in Sunday's FA Cup win against Wigan and are due to start as Jose Mourinho's men return to Premier League action.

"We always play a full strength team, depending on the way you look at it," Mourinho said. "But normally we always try to have always a strong team, but of course we had some players that didn't play the last match.

"Some players with a lot of matches already, players like (Antonio) Valencia, Pogba, Ibrahimovic, didn't play (against Wigan). They will play tomorrow."

Andrea Ranocchia could make his debut for Hull on Wednesday night.

With Curtis Davies ruled out for around eight weeks with a hamstring injury and fellow centre-halves Michael Dawson and Harry Maguire struggling with knocks, Ranocchia could slot in at the back after completing his loan switch to the Tigers from Inter Milan on Deadline Day.

Eric Bailly, back from the Africa Cup of Nations, is available for United, while Mourinho confirmed Ashley Young will be staying at the club and involved.

Ahmed Elmohamady (Egypt) and Dieumerci Mbokani are both on Africa Cup of Nations duty and unavailable for the trip to Old Trafford.
