FA Cup: Burnley v Lincoln City preview

Burnley v Lincoln City preview

Burnley are without Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick for their FA Cup fifth round clash against Vanarama National League leaders Lincoln.

Brady is cup-tied having played for Norwich earlier in the competition, while Hendrick serves the second match of a three-game suspension.

Steven Defour (hamstring) is still out and Johann Berg Gudmundsson is fit to return, while the likes of Jon Flanagan, James Tarkowski, Tendayi Darikwa, Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes can all expect recalls.

Burnley (from): Heaton, Robinson, Pope, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Long, Ward, Flanagan, Darikwa, Tarkowski, Barton, Boyd, Westwood, Gudmundsson, Arfield, Vokes, Gray, Barnes.

Lincoln have no new problems ahead of the tie and only long-term absentee Lee Beevers (knee) will miss out through injury at Turf Moor.

Joe Ward, on loan from Brighton, was ineligible against his parent club in the last round and fellow winger Josh Ginnelly, on loan from Burnley, is cup-tied having already played in the competition during a previous loan spell at Walsall.

The Imps sold striker Theo Robinson at the end of the January transfer window after he scored seven goals in their cup run.

Boss Danny Cowley has since signed Dayle Southwell on loan from Wycombe as a replacement.
