FAC: Arsenal v Manchester City preview

Arsenal v Manchester City preview

Arsenal have a number of injury problems ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The Gunners make the short journey to Wembley with David Ospina (back), Danny Welbeck (toe), Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez (thigh) all missing while Jeff Reine-Adelaide (ankle) and Santi Cazorla (Achilles) will not play again this season.

Manager Arsene Wenger changed to a three-man defence for Monday's win at Middlesbrough and admits he could stick with the new system against City with the likes of Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin hoping for recalls.

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus could return after two months out with a broken foot.

Defender John Stones has been ruled out after failing to recover from the muscle injury which forced him out of last week's Premier League victory at Southampton.

With Claudio Bravo having featured in the last two Premier League games, Willy Caballero could return in goal if manager Pep Guardiola sticks to his usual cup rotation policy. Right-back Bacary Sagna (groin) is unlikely to return.
