UEL: Anderlecht v Manchester United preview
Manchester United travel to Anderlecht in their Europa League quarter-final first leg without captain Wayne Rooney.
Rooney has been left out of Manchester United's squad as manager Jose Mourinho says the club captain is not happy with his fitness.
Asked about Rooney ahead of the match, Mourinho said: "He's not confident, he's not happy, he has bad feelings with his ankle and is not ready to play."
United go to Belgian league leaders Anderlecht having lost just twice in 34 games.
David De Gea, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young took part in training on Wednesday, with Juan Mata, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones the only first-team regulars missing.
Spanish goalkeeper de Gea missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Sunderland with a hip problem. United manager Jose Mourinho may opt to keep de Gea out of action come Thursday's quarter-final first leg match in Brussels and bring him back for this weekend's league fixture against leaders Chelsea instead.
That would mean Sergio Romero continuing between the posts against Anderlecht.
