EPL: Leicester City v Brighton preview

Liverpool v Crystal Palace preview
Leicester will hope to bounce back against newly-promoted Brighton after a heart-breaking loss to Arsenal last week.
The Foxes appeared on course for a rare win over the Gunners when Jamie Vardy struck for the second time in the match to put them 3-2 ahead. However, two late goals from the home side saw the visitors leave the Emirates Stadium empty handed.
Boss Craig Shakespeare admitted to being “bitterly disappointed” by the 4-3 loss and will hope for a much-improved defensive showing when Brighton visit the King Power Stadium.
Leicester’s home form following the appointment of Shakespeare as manager was excellent last season, winning six of out of nine matches on their own patch.
Shakespeare had hoped to hand Kelechi Iheanacho his first start but he is a doubt due to a toe injury. Danny Drinkwater and Vincente Iborra are both still unavailable.
However, Robert Huth is available again having come through a reserve game this week unscathed.
These two have not faced each other since 2014 when Brighton emerged 4-1 winners at the King Power Stadium.
The Seagulls would love a repeat of that scoreline after a difficult opening weekend, Manchester City battling to a 2-0 victory at the Amex Stadium.
Manager Chris Hughton has admitted the loss to City was a learning experience and will hope to see an improved performance from his team, particularly going forward after struggling to create chances last weekend.
The news loanee Izzy Brown will be missing until after the international break will not help Brighton’s attacking issues, the youngster returning to parent club Chelsea for treatment on a hamstring injury.
Brown joins Sam Baldcock and Beram Kayal on the sidelines, while new signing Jose Izquierdo is ineligible as he waits on a work permit.
Brighton built their promotion push last season on the back of their home form but also enjoyed plenty of success on the road, finishing with the third best away record in the Championship.
