EPL: Everton v Tottenham preview

Everton v Tottenham preview
Everton have confirmed Wayne Rooney will feature against Tottenham, who are unbeaten in their last four visits to Goodison Park.
The former England captain faces a drink-driving charge after being arrested last week, but despite Ronald Koeman admitting he was "very disappointed", the manager has stated Rooney will play.
The Dutchman has also revealed that deadline day signing Nikola Vlasic will be included in the squad, while goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been passed fit having pulled out of the England squad last week.
Everton, who will also have Morgan Schneiderlin back after a one-game suspension, are without a win in the last nine league meetings with Spurs but do have an impressive recent home record - they have won 10 of their 11 league games at Goodison Park in 2017.
Mauricio Pochettino remains coy on weather new signing Serge Aurier will feature, while the other deadline day capture - Fernando Llorente - is still continuing his recovery from injury.
The visitors though have been boosted by the news that defender Kieran Trippier is fit and available, but Victor Wanyama, Danny Rose and Erik Lamela remain on the sidelines.
The stats show Tottenham have had 62 shots so far this season, more than any other team in the league, but Harry Kane still remains without a league goal this term.
