EPL: Everton 2-5 Arsenal

Arsenal thrashed Everton
Arsenal fought back from an early Wayne Rooney goal to thrash 10-man Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park with five different scorers.
The Gunners made a bright start as Alexandre Lacazette drew a fine save from Jordan Pickford but they found themselves behind early on against the run of play.
Rooney opened the scoring with a curling effort from 20 yards that gave Petr Cech no chance in the Arsenal goal.
The visitors did manage to restore parity before the break as Pickford managed to keep Lacazette's effort out, but the rebound fell to Nacho Monreal who levelled matters.
Arsenal took the lead after the restart as Mesut Ozil headed home an Alexis Sanchez delivery and Everton were then reduced to 10 men as Idrissa Gueye picked up a second yellow card.
The Gunners made their numerical advantage count as Lacazette finally got on the scoresheet after a few close calls earlier on.
There was a late flurry as Aaron Ramsey added a fourth in the closing stages, before Everton substitute Oumar Niassa pounced on some hesitancy at the back to reduce the deficit.
Alexis Sanchez completed the scoring in the final seconds of injury time to condemn Everton to a 5-2 home defeat.
The Blues remain in the bottom three as a result of the loss, with the pressure piling on boss Ronald Koeman after a poor start to the campaign.
