EPL: Huddersfield Town 0-4 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham's Harry Kane celebrates
Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur comfortably defeated Huddersfield Town 4-0 at the John Smith's Stadium.
Spurs, who came into the match on the back of a 3-0 win over Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League, were impressive in the first half although some slack defending from the hosts made it easy.
A poor clearance from goalkeeper Jonas Loessl allowed Kieran Trippier to send Kane through on goal and the England international made no mistake as he stroked home from inside the box.
The Terriers made another mess of things at the back seven minutes later and Ben Davies profited this time, applying a deft finish over the keeper from eight yards out.
Huddersfield did have a penalty shout turned down when Elias Kachunga appeared to be pushed in the back by Davinson Sanchez who was lucky to get away with the rash challenge.
Kane grabbed his second of the match in the 24th minute with a left-footed strike from 20 yards that ended up in the top-left corner.
Dele Alli, who was booked for diving in the second half, should have made it 4-0 before half-time but his shot from six yards hit the post and bounced clear.
The Terriers, who are now winless in five Premier League matches, almost pulled one back before the break but Laurent Depoitre's strike from 20 yards rattled the crossbar.
It was a tame affair in the second half but Spurs managed to add a fourth in stoppage-time via Moussa Sissoko's deflected strike from inside the box that trickled over the line.
Spurs have now racked up three consecutive Premier League victories to move into third position ahead of Saturday's 3pm matches.
