EPL: Manchester City 3-0 Burnley

Aguero celebrates his record-equalling goal
Manchester City have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League after a win against a determined Burnley at the Etihad.
Kevin de Bruyne almost scored but was denied by Burnley keeper Nick Pope, with the ball falling to Bernardo Silva who tried to round Pope but, after the slightest of touches, he went down and referee Roger East pointed at the spot.
Sergio Aguero made no mistake from twelve yards out and, in doing so, levelled Eric Brook as the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
Burnley went into the break still content as they kept the hosts relatively at bay and were only a goal down to a contentious decision.
They looked to do more of the same in the second half but, as they tired, City took advantage and put the game to bed with two goals in two minutes.
Leroy Sane's cross on 77 minutes found Nicolas Otamendi who got up above his man and headed into the corner.
Sane then scored a goal of his own two minutes later when played in by De Bruyne, with Pope unable to keep out his low shot across goal.
City pressed late on, with David Silva wasting a good opportunity, while moments later Gabriel Jesus looked to pounce on a loose ball and forced another good save from Pope.
City have now made it 11 consecutive matches unbeaten and will end the weekend with a healthy lead at the top of the table.
