EPL: Swansea City 1-2 Leicester City

Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone
Managerless Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
Michael Appleton was placed in temporary charge as the search for Craig Shakespeare’s replacement continues and his decision to start Shinji Okazaki ahead of Kelechi Iheanacho proved to be a good one.
The Japan international had an early header saved well by Lukasz Fabianski before he pulled a lovely ball back for Marc Albrighton, whose powerful effort from 10 yards out was tipped over.
Leicester's dominance continued and they managed to break the deadlock on the 25th minute, with Federico Hernandez heading a Riyad Mahrez cross into his own net.
Okazaki then doubled the advantage four minutes into the second half when Mahrez stayed just onside to square a ball for Okazaki, who tapped in from four yards out.
Swansea refused to give up and they halved the deficit on the 56th minute when defender Alfie Mawson, on the turn, produced a lovely finish from seven yards out.
Two chances then came the way of the hosts, firstly Jordan Ayew's 25-yard curler was saved by Fabianski before Wayne Routledge fired into the side-netting from just outside the box.
Leicester were dangerous on the counter and England international Jamie Vardy was denied by the foot of Fabianski after being slipped into the penalty area by Andy King.
The Foxes managed to hold out for a precious win that has lifted them from 18th to 13th, a great start for caretaker Appleton, while Swansea drop to 15th.
