EPL: Swansea City v Leicester City preview
Managerless Leicester City will be looking to put recent events behind them when making the trip to Swansea on Saturday.
The Foxes sacked Craig Shakespeare just four months into his three-year deal following the 1-1 home draw against West Brom on Monday night.
Several candidates have been linked with the vacant position but, for now, Michael Appleton has been placed in temporary charge.
Leicester are sitting 18th in the Premier League, having won just once this season, although a second victory of the campaign could lift them out of the bottom three.
Appleton has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match with defender Robert Huth and midfielder Matty James out with ankle and Achilles injuries respectively.
Kelechi Iheanacho was poor in the draw against the Baggies and he could be replaced by either Shinji Okazaki or Islam Slimani.
Swansea managed to pick up their second win of the season last time out, beating Huddersfield 2-0, and the hosts will be confident of putting a run together.
Paul Clement's men desperately needed that win against the Terriers to build some confidence and they will be hoping for a repeat of the result in this fixture last season, having won 2-0.
Striker Wilfried Bony will be absent for the second week in running due to a hamstring injury whilst midfielder Leroy Fer is suspended.
Portuguese Renato Sanches is back in contention after recovering from a thigh injury while Tammy Abraham will be aiming to build from his two goals last time out.
