EPL: West Brom v Manchester City preview

West Brom v Manchester City preview
Manchester City will look to increase their gap at the top of the Premier League table when they travel to West Brom on Saturday.
The Citizens are currently five points clear at the top, with rivals Manchester United and Tottenham their closest challengers.
Pep Guardiola's troops have been in sublime form this season and they have already scored 32 goals in their first nine games.
The Spaniard is set to recall several first-team stars after resting them for the Carabao Cup win over Wolves, with Nicolas Otamendi, Kevin de Bruyne and Ederson expected to return.
Ilkay Gundogan is a doubt as he is suffering with cramp, while defenders Benjamin Mendy and Vincent Kompany remain on the sidelines.
West Brom have some defensive worries of their own with Craig Dawson out and Jonny Evans a doubt.
Midfielder James Morrison is also set to miss the game at the Hawthorns but Gareth Barry, Oliver Burke and Hal Robson-Kanu are all pushing for a start.
City have won the last 11 league meetings between the two teams and they will be confident of extending that run with Tony Pulis' side low on confidence.
Their last league win came in August and they have not beaten City at home in the league since 2008.
