EPL: Burnley v Arsenal preview

Burnley v Arsenal preview
Burnley are level on points with Arsenal in the Premier League standings ahead of their clash at Turf Moor on Sunday.
The Clarets have been arguably the surprise package of the season to date, as they have lost just two of their 12 league games, while they are currently on a three-match winning run in the division, the first time they have achieved that feat since 1975.
However, the Clarets have a poor recent record against Arsenal, picking up just one point from their six previous Premier League clashes, although they were denied in both meetings last season by 90th minute goals.
Boss Sean Dyche should be able to welcome Chris Wood back into the fold after the New Zealander missed last weekend's victory over Swansea following his exertions during the recent international break.
Arsenal will head into the match buoyed by their 2-0 victory over Tottenham in the North London derby last weekend, a triumph that maintained their 100% league record on home soil this term.
Things have not gone so smoothly for Arsene Wenger’s men on the road of late, as they have already been beaten four times on their travels in the league, while a much changed Gunners line-up lost 1-0 at Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday.
Wenger is likely to revert back to his first-choice starting 11 on Sunday, although Danny Welbeck could play some part, after he made his first-team return during the week.
