EPL: Huddersfield Town 1-3 Chelsea

Chelsea got back to winning ways
Chelsea got back to winning ways as they cruised to a comfortable 3-1 victory away at Huddersfield.
The big news ahead of the match was the absence of Alvaro Morata for the visitors, with the Spaniard's back injury keeping him out and allowing Eden Hazard to move further forward, meaning Michy Batshuayi was again overlooked.
A decent start to the match saw both teams enjoying possession and the first chance came after 11 minutes when Aaron Mooy caught a sweet left-footed volley, only for Steve Mounie to get in the way and deflect clear.
Eventually the Blues started to gain the upper hand and took the lead after 24 minutes when Tiemoue Bakayoko finished strongly after linking well with Willian.
Bakayoko almost made it 2-0 with a header at the near post from a free-kick but they would not be denied and Willian doubled the advantage as he headed home Marcos Alonso's cross moments before the break.
It was more of the same after the interval and Pedro soon made it 3-0 for Chelsea as after a rare poor touch by Willian, the Spaniard found himself unmarked 10 yards out before finishing emphatically into the roof of the net.
The game was over and that seemed to take the shackles off Huddersfield who had their first real chance of the second half after the hour when Mathias Jorgensen saw an effort wide.
Chelsea remained on top though with the forward trio of Hazard, Willian and Pedro sparkling on an otherwise miserable night at the John Smith's Stadium.
There was, however, time for a consolation when substitute Laurent Depoitre flicked home cleverly at the near post in stoppage time.
In the end, it was a deserved win for Antonio Conte's men, as they got back on track following Saturday's defeat at West Ham with an impressive performance against the underwhelming Terriers.
