EPL: Newcastle United 2-3 Leicester City

Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez celebrate as Ayoze Pérez
Leicester recorded a third successive win thanks to a late Ayoze Perez own goal as Newcastle's bad run of form continued.
The Toon had fought their way back in to the match, Dwight Gayle's third goal in five appearances drawing them level with 11 minutes to go, the Foxes having overcome an early setback to take a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Riyad Mahrez and Demarai Gray.
With the game heading towards a draw, Perez inadvertently poked the ball in to his own net as he tried to stop Shinji Okazaki, condeming the Magpies to a sixth defeat in seven Premier League matches.
It had all started so well for the home side on the club’s 125th anniversary, catching Leicester defence napping after just four minutes with a ball over the top, unleashing Gayle, who was able to pull the ball back for Joselu to slot home from 10 yards.
Gayle looked lively from the off and could have had Newcastle's second when given too much space on the edge of the penalty area, sending his powerful effort just wide.
Leicester eventually woke up after 19 minutes, Gray going close to an equaliser when he curled a long range effort narrowly wide of the target.
The Foxes did not have to wait too long for the leveller though, Newcastle gifting Mahrez possession a minute late, allowing him to work the ball on to his left foot before he fired past Toon goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who might be disappointed with his efforts.
Gray then put visitors ahead on the hour mark as he netted his fourth goal of the season, his deflected effort flying past Darlow after Marc Albrighton's cushioned knockdown.
Leicester looked to be cruising to all three points but were hit with a sucker punch on 73 minutes when Gayle levelled the match, the Foxes failing to clear a corner and Gayle's deflected effort wrong-footing Schmeichel.
The in-form Gayle nearly grabbed his second when firing across the face of goal, only to narrowly miss the far corner.
Late heartbreak awaited Newcastle though as Leicester broke quickly, Vardy feeding the ball across for Okazaki, the Japanese controlling the ball before a recovering Perez poked it past his own goalkeeper with four minutes to go as he tried to make the interception.
