EPL: Stoke City v Swansea City preview

Stoke City v Swansea City preview
Swansea will look to climb out of the relegation zone when they travel to the Bet365 stadium to take on fellow strugglers Stoke.
Saturday’s meeting will see two under pressure managers go head-to-head with both Paul Clement and Mark Hughes potentially close to being sacked after disastrous starts to the campaign.
Swansea are currently 19th in the Premier League table and they have picked up nine points from their first 14 games.
A win could see them climb out of the bottom three if results go their way and they would put pressure on Stoke who sit just four points above them.
Swansea have not won since October 14 and they have lost six of their last seven games in the league.
Clement will be boosted by the return of striker Tammy Abraham, but both Federico Fernandez and Kyle Bartley will miss out.
Stoke are without a win in four matches and back-to-back defeats have increased the pressure on Hughes ahead of a busy period.
He will be hoping the home advantage will work in his team’s favour and striker Maxim Choupo-Moting should be fit after overcoming an ankle knock.
Defender Geoff Cameron is not fit to return from a head injury and he remains on the sidelines with goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Stoke’s record at home will give them confidence, having never lost to Swansea in the Premier League on their own patch.
Swansea’s last win in the Potteries was back in 2001, when both teams were fighting it out in the third tier of the Football League.
