EPL: Tottenham v Stoke preview

Tottenham v Stoke preview
Tottenham will be looking to get their top-four push back on track when going up against Stoke City at Wembley on Saturday.
Spurs' Premier League form has been dreadful as of late, taking just two points from a potential 12, and the club have slipped down to fifth in the table, a massive 18 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
Any hope of a third consecutive title challenge appears all but over and finishing in the top-four looks to be the best possible result for Mauricio Pochettino's men, who are four points behind Liverpool in fourth.
It has been a stark contrast for Tottenham in the Champions League, having topped their Group ahead of Real Madrid, and the Argentine manager will be hoping that form can be replicated on the domestic scene.
Spurs remain without midfielder Victor Wanyama and defender Toby Alderweireld due to injury but, barring those two players, Pochettino has a fully fit squad to choose from.
Stoke picked up a crucial 2-1 win against Swansea City last time out, lifting the club to 13th in the standings, and manager Mark Hughes will be hoping to build on that victory.
However, the Potters have a dreadful recent record against Spurs, having lost the last three encounters 4-0 on each occasion with Harry Kane accounting for six of those 12 strikes.
The Potters will be without Bruno Martins Indi for around eight weeks due to a groin injury whilst Jese Rodriguez will not travel with the squad because of an ongoing personal matter.
USA international Geoff Cameron is pushing to play some part in the contest after enjoying a full week of training following his return from injury.
