EPL: Chelsea v Huddersfield preview

Chelsea v Huddersfield preview

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is expected to freshen up his side as they seek a fifth successive win to maintain hopes of a top-four finish.

Chelsea have finished outside the top four just once in the last 13 seasons but are in serious danger of missing out.

Antonio Conte's men go into the game three points behind Liverpool in third (with one game in hand) and two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham (same games played).

However, Chelsea have won their last four Premier League games, which has kept the pressure on both Tottenham and Liverpool. A win against Huddersfield would be the first time they've won five Premier League games in a row this season.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield, who battled to a 0-0 with Manchester City on Sunday, only need a point to guarantee their Premier League status next season.

Striker Alvaro Morata has shrugged off a knock and could start.

The Blues are seeking to sneak into the Premier League top four and Conte promised changes after Sunday's win over Liverpool, which Morata missed.

Willian, Pedro and Emerson Palmieri are among those who could come in, but defenders David Luiz (knee) and Ethan Ampadu (ankle) are out.

Tom Ince is fit and back in the squad as David Wagner has promised to make changes from their energy-sapping performance against City on Sunday.

Terence Kongolo and Chris Löwe are rated as doubtful after taking knocks at the Etihad.
