How to Broadcast part 6 ?
When someone is connected thay are PULLING the content away from your computer.
Remember Part 3 "broadcasting method"
Now we are going to show you how to PUSH your content onto another server
You viewers will type MMS://streamwebtown.com/wrtv into their internet browsers, and it will axtivate the windows media player on their computer.
MMS is the preferred method instread of HTTP ( you can use both!)
As you can see by pushing the content away your computer does not have the problem of bandwidth, I will explain.
Say your upload speed is 300kbps, you are broadcasting at 150kbps, that means only 2 viewers can watch your broadcast.
By using p2p (peer to peer) you have alot more viewers than before.
You can also use Flash Broadcasing using your Video Capturing Equipment in exactly the same way, website like USTREAM.com & JUSTINTV.com are just a few examples
This course should help you to understand how to broadcast and how easy it is to do.
