FA Cup: Hull v Swansea preview

Hull v Swansea preview
New Swansea boss Paul Clement will make some changes for the FA Cup third round tie at Hull.
Clement saw his side win 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Tuesday night, but he takes charge for the first time on Humberside and his plan to rotate could mean starts for Leroy Fer, Modou Barrow, Nathan Dyer and Borja Baston.
Jordi Amat is available after serving a one-match ban but Jefferson Montero remains sidelined with a hamstring problem.
Hull enter the fray this week still rattled by the sacking of Mike Phelan following their 3-1 loss to West Brom in the league last Monday. That defeat marked Hull’s fifth in seven games, a period of time that has seen them fail to win even once.
With that in mind, perhaps Phelan’s sacking isn’t at all that shocking, however the appointment of his mooted replacement, Marco Silva, certainly is. Silva will be calling out for a win on his debut this week, and should turn to lead Adama Diomande to help provide it.
