FA Cup: Middlesbrough v Oxford preview
Full-back George Friend is back in contention for Middlesbrough's FA Cup fifth round clash with Sky Bet League One Oxford on Saturday.
Friend has not played since damaging a calf muscle early in the 1-0 victory over Accrington in the last round, but is available once again, although fellow defender Antonio Barragan is still out with a hamstring strain.
Gaston Ramirez, who was used as a substitute in last weekend's 0-0 Premier League draw with Everton, could return to the starting line-up for the first time since January 2 following his rejected transfer request and a knee problem, but new signing Adlene Guedioura is cup-tied having already played in the competition for Watford.
Middlesbrough (from): Valdes, Guzan, Chambers, Fabio, Friend, Gibson, Espinosa, Ayala, Fry, De Roon, Clayton, Forshaw, Leadbitter, Downing, Stuani, Traore, Fischer, Negredo, Gestede, Bamford.
Oxford have no fresh injury concerns.
Joe Skarz is available following illness, while defenders Christian Ribeiro and Sam Long continue their rehabilitation from injury.
