EPL: West Brom v Watford preview

West Bromwich Albion v Watford preview

West Brom will be looking to return to winning ways when they play host to high-flying Watford at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

The Baggies made a fine start to the season, winning their opening two league matches, but they have failed to win in their last four, a run that includes Monday night's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.

Tony Pulis' side are yet to lose in the top-flight at home this season, while they were 3-1 victors the last time they played host to Watford in December 2016.

Indeed Albion have only lost one of their last nine home meetings with the Hornets, a run that includes a 5-0 win in the Championship eight years ago.

Pulis has a fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday's match, as wingers Nacer Chadli and Oliver Burke have shaken off respective thigh and hamstring complaints and could play some part.

Watford are looking to a secure a fourth successive top-flight away victory for the first time, while they have not started any season with four straight away triumphs since they achieved the feat in the third tier 21 years ago.

Boss Marco Silva has led the Hornets to their best ever start to a Premier League season, while a win could see them potentially end the weekend as high as third.

However, Watford will have to do without Nathaniel Chalobah for the trip to The Hawthorns, as he requires surgery on a knee injury, although defender Miguel Britos is available following suspension.
