EPL: West Ham United v Swansea City preview

West Ham United v Swansea City preview
West Ham can move out of the relegation zone if they gain a positive result against fellow strugglers Swansea at the London Stadium.
The Hammers will head into Saturday's match having won just one of their opening six top-flight games this term, while another defeat would see them equal their worst ever start to a Premier League season.
Boss Slaven Bilic remains under pressure to turn the club's fortunes around and they did produce a positive performance as they were narrowly beaten 3-2 by London rivals Tottenham last weekend.
West Ham also have an impressive recent record against Swansea as they have only lost one of the last nine league meetings between the two sides, although that defeat did come on home soil in May 2016.
The Hammers will be boosted by the news that Manuel Lanzini is available once again following a month on the sidelines with a knee problem, while Michail Antonio has recovered from the groin issue that forced him off against Spurs.
Swansea's problem so far this season has been scoring goals, as they have netted just three times in the league, drawing blanks in two of their last three away games.
However, the Swans are unbeaten on their travels this season, as they defeated Palace 2-0 and claimed credible goalless draws with Tottenham and Southampton.
Captain Leon Britton has recovered from a back injury, but boss Paul Clement has hinted he may not throw the midfielder straight back into the starting line-up, while the match is likely to come too soon for Ki Sung-Yueng, who has been sidelined with a knee injury since June.
