EPL: Arsenal 2-1 Swansea City

Sead Kolasinac scored one and set up another as Arsenal came from behind to defeat Swansea City 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners named the same side who started the 5-2 victory at Everton last time out while the Swans made four changes to the team beaten 2-1 by Leicester City, with Martin Olsson and Renato Sanches both injured.

The home team enjoyed the better of the early possession, with Aaron Ramsey seeing a shot blocked before Alexis Sanchez forced former Arsenal gloveman Lukasz Fabianski into a smart take.

The Swans keeper then claimed a Per Mertesacker header as the Gunners continued to force the pace without being able to make the breakthrough.

However, with 22 minutes on the clock it was the visitors who grabbed the opening goal as Tammy Abraham played in Sam Clucas with a superb pass and the wing-back slotted his finish between the legs of the advancing Petr Cech.

Abraham almost released Jordan Ayew as the visitors sprang forward on the counter-attack, with the home fans starting to voice their frustrations.

Fabianski denied his former club again five minutes before the interval, clawing a Sanchez effort away as he dived away to his left.

Ayew was then blocked out by Cech after robbing a dithering Mertesacker inside the Arsenal penalty area.

The hosts started the second half the brighter and found an equaliser six minutes in when a ball across the area from the right fell to Kolasinac and his left-foot drive was too good for Fabianski.

Abraham had an immediate response ruled out for offside before Laurent Koscielny headed off target from a Sanchez free-kick.

Kolasinac then played a part in helping Arsenal take a 2-1 lead as his pass fed Aaron Ramsey to drive the ball home from eight yards out.

Alexandre Lacazette almost met a Hector Bellerin cross to extend the lead, with the Swans now struggling to make anything happen.

Late on home substitute Olivier Giroud scuffed a shot wide from close range before the Frenchman belted a 20-yarder inches wide of an upright.
