EPL: Crystal Palace 2-2 West Ham

Wilfried Zaha Seals Comeback for Eagles
Wilfried Zaha equalised with virtually the last kick of the match as Crystal Palace hit back to draw 2-2 with West Ham United.
Slaven Bilic’s side appeared to be on course for only their third Premier League victory of the campaign thanks to first-half goals by Javier Hernandez and Andre Ayew, but Palace hit back to draw the London derby in dramatic fashion.
The opening exchanges were very scrappy, with Palace having the majority of the possession only for their attacks to break down with poor final balls.
However, in the 31st minute, the Hammers broke the deadlock with their first attack of the match when Aaron Cresswell’s cross from the left-hand side found Hernandez who tucked the ball past Julian Speroni.
The Eagles almost equalised within six minutes, only for Joe Hart to make a brilliant save when he clawed former West Ham defender James Tomkins’ close-range header away.
Bilic’s side, who came from two goals down to beat Tottenham 3-2 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, doubled their advantage two minutes before the interval when Ayew’s fine 20-yard shot found the top corner of the net.
Palace made the best possible start to the second half, halving the deficit in the 50th minute when Luka Milivojevic sent Hart the wrong way from the penalty spot after Andros Townsend had been brought down by Angelo Ogbonna.
Yohan Cabaye then rattled the post with a 20-yard shot and Hart saved Zaha’s effort as Roy Hodgson’s side turned up the pressure.
In the closing stages, Tomkins hit the woodwork before Zaha found the back of the net with a low drive six minutes into stoppage time.
