EPL: Arsenal v Brighton preview
The Gunners looked to be in crisis when they lost 4-0 at Liverpool in August, but they have bounced back from that setback by winning five and drawing one of their next six matches.
Arsene Wenger's men have also won their last eight home games in the Premier League, while they have never lost against Brighton on home soil, although the two teams have not gone head-to-head in a league fixture since 1983.
Fatigue could also be an issue for Arsenal, as they were in action against BATE Borisov in the Europa League on Thursday night, although Wenger made mass changes for that match and he is expected to revert back to the team that beat West Brom 2-0 in the league on Monday.
One change Wenger could make would be to bring Mesut Ozil back into the starting line-up, after he was only a substitute against the Baggies, although Danny Welbeck, Calum Chambers, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla remain sidelined.
Brighton will head into the match looking for back-to-back wins in the top-flight for the first time since 1982, although the majority of their success this season has come on home soil.
Indeed Chris Hughton’s men have only scored once on the road this term and their chances will not be helped by the absence of forward Tomer Hemed, who begins a three-match ban following his sending off against Newcastle.
Glenn Murray has returned to training following an ankle complaint, although Beram Kayal and Sam Baldock remain unavailable.
