EPL: Everton v Burnley preview

Everton v Burnley preview
Everton have made an indifferent start to the season and they face a tough test against Burnley at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The Toffees are currently languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League standings after winning just two of their opening six top-flight games, while they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Apollon Limassol in the Europa League on Thursday.
Boss Ronald Koeman has faced a certain amount of criticism over recent weeks, but Everton did secure a 2-1 success against Bournemouth in their last league match and they boast an impressive recent record against Sunday's opponents Burnley, as they have won four of the last five meetings between the two sides.
Koeman may hand Oumar Niasse a rare start after he came off the bench to net a brace against Bournemouth last weekend, while summer signing Nikola Vlasic is pushing for his full Premier League debut.
Everton do have defensive concerns, however, as both Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka are doubtful due to respective foot and ankle injuries.
Burnley have made an impressive start to the season, collecting nine points from their opening six games, while they are also unbeaten on the road despite facing tough fixtures against Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool.
Another victory on Sunday would hand the Clarets their best ever start to a Premier League campaign, although they have only won once at Goodison Park since 1963.
Boss Sean Dyche has no new injury concerns, although forwards Nahki Wells and Jonathan Walters remain unavailable due to respective ankle and knee injuries.
