EPL: Arsenal v Huddersfield Town preview

Arsenal v Huddersfield Town preview
Arsenal will seek to win a 12th straight Premier League game at home when Huddersfield Town visit the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
The Gunners have a formidable record on their own patch this season, taking maximum points from all six of their encounters in north London, including against local rivals Tottenham last time out.
After a rocky start to the campaign, Arsenal have won four of the last five matches, Sunday's victory over Burnley moving them in to the top four.
With manager Arsene Wenger confirming the club will not sell Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanchez in January, the Gunners look poised to join the battle for second place with Manchester City continuing to set a blazing pace in the Premier League title race.
Huddersfield will hope to throw a spanner in the works though when they travel to north London for a league fixture for the first time since 1972.
The Terriers pushed Manchester City all the way on Sunday, taking a shock first half lead before eventually succumbing as they put on another strong performance at home.
Away from the John Smith's Stadium has been a different story for David Wagner's men though, failing to score an away goal since the opening day of the season, while they have only taken one point on the road since beating Crystal Palace on August 12.
Arsenal could have Mesut Ozil available on Wednesday after he missed the win at Burnley with illness and the German may replace Alex Iwobi, who is a doubt having suffered a dead leg at Turf Moor.
Should Ozil and Iwobi fail their fitness tests then there could be a first league start of the season for Jack Wilshere.
Huddersfield will be unable to call upon the services of Kasey Palmer, while long-term absentees Michael Hefele and Philip Billing continue their recoveries.
