EPL: Bournemouth v Burnley preview

Bournemouth v Burnley preview
Bournemouth will welcome back captain Simon Francis to the squad for Wednesday's home clash with high-flying Burnley.
The Cherries skipper missed the 0-0 draw at Swansea on Saturday, following his red card against Huddersfield the previous week and is expected to slot straight back into the starting line-up.
Adam Smith appears the most likely to drop out if Francis returns, while Eddie Howe is set to make a late decision on the fitness of both Jermain Defoe and Junior Stanislas.
Burnley hold the upper hand in the head-to-head stats, losing just one of their last eight meetings with Bournemouth - although that loss came in this fixture last term, when Josh King scored the only goal.
The Clarets though go into Wednesday's game with only one defeat in their last seven away games and are expected to welcome back Chris Wood to the starting XI, after the former Leeds man sat on the bench against Arsenal. Goalkeeper Tom Heaton and forward Jon Walters still remain on the sidelines with shoulder and knee problems.
The visitors have conceded just one goal in their last four matches (that late penalty from Arsenal), while Bournemouth are looking to claim a fourth clean sheet in a row.
