EPL: Swansea City v Bournemouth preview

Swansea City v Bournemouth preview
Struggling Swansea will be hoping to ease the pressure on under fire boss Paul Clement by beating Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Swans have lost their last four Premier League matches, scoring just one goal in the process, a run of form that has fuelled speculation regarding Clement's future at the Liberty Stadium.
Clement insists he still has the full support of the club's owners and a victory over the Cherries on home soil would come as a timely boost, with Swansea currently languishing in the relegation zone.
The omens are not good for the Swans, however, as they have never won a top-flight match against Bournemouth, losing both meetings last season, including a 3-0 defeat at the Liberty in December.
Leading scorer Tammy Abraham is also a major doubt for the match after injuring his back during the 2-0 loss at Burnley last weekend, while player-coach Leon Britton is struggling with a niggling groin issue.
Bournemouth, by contrast, will head into the contest with renewed confidence following a run of three wins in their last four league matches, a sequence that has seen them pull four points clear of the relegation zone.
Eddie Howe's men have also won their last two away matches in the division against Stoke and Newcastle, although they have never secured three successive league victories on the road during their time in the Premier League.
Jermain Defoe will once again miss out as he continues to struggle with a calf problem, while Junior Stanislas is also unavailable due to a groin complaint.
Benik Afobe is likely to play some part after recovering from a muscle strain, but it is Callum Wilson who is expected to lead the line following his hat-trick against Huddersfield last time out.
