West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United preview
Gary Megson will take charge of West Brom once again for Tuesday's Premier League clash with Newcastle at the Hawthorns.
The caretaker boss led the Baggies to a 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday and although Alan Pardew is understood to be close to filling the managerial vacancy, Megson will remain in charge for the visit of the Magpies.
West Brom will hand a late fitness test to Chris Brunt, with the Northern Ireland international battling to recover from a calf problem. Injured duo Nacer Chadli and James Morrison are still sidelined but could return to the Baggies squad in time for the weekend clash with Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have slipped to 14th in the table after four straight defeats including a 0-3 home loss to Watford on Saturday, while Rafa Benitez's side recorded just one win in six on the road this term.
The Magpies, who lost 1-0 on their last visit to the Hawthorns in December 2015, will field a different side to the one that lost at the weekend, with Benitez confirming: "We will change something for sure."
Out-of-favour Alexsandar Mitrovic came off the bench in the second half on Saturday and could be handed a rare start, while Ayoze Perez is expected to return to the starting XI.
