EPL: Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 Stoke City

Harry Kane
Tottenham cruised past Stoke City after a dominant second half display at Wembley Stadium with Harry Kane grabbing a brace.
In a game that started slowly, it took a lucky deflected goal in the 21st minute to give the host the lead after a good run from Son Heung-min, who crossed in low, the ball coming off firstly Kurt Zouma and then Ryan Shawcross before flying past Jack Butland.
The second half saw Tottenham step up a gear with the visitors unable to cope as they crumbled and conceded four more times. Severn minutes after the break and Son was in the middle of the action again after Deli Alli produced a pass that unlocked the Potters defence, leaving Son to finish with a clinical low effort.
Kane made it three just two minutes later with a header that went through Butland's legs from close range after getting onto the end of a Ben Davies cross.
The hosts continued to press and Kane grabbed his second of the game in the 64th minute when the England International drilled home after Stoke failed to clear Christian Eriksen's pass.
Tottenham kept the goals coming ten minutes later when Son was involved again in the action when he found Eriksen in space, the Dane comfortably beating Butland with the shot.
Stoke managed a consolation goal with nine minutes remaining when Hugo Lloris made a hash of claiming a ball in which then left Shawcross with the easiest of headers to net.
The Potters rarely threatened over the course of the game and it was the hosts who could have easily posted a bigger result on the Wembley scoreboard but thanks in part to some wasteful finishing and some good stops from Butland it was kept down to five.
