EPL: Swansea City v Newcastle United preview

Swansea City v Newcastle United preview
Swansea and Newcastle will be looking to build on impressive victories last time out when they meet at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
The Swans were beaten 4-0 by Manchester United in their last home match, but they bounced back from that defeat with consecutive away victories, most recently a 2-0 success at Crystal Palace before the international break.
Paul Clement's side also boast an impressive recent record against Newcastle, as they have only lost two of the last 11 meetings between the two sides, although one of those defeats came when they last met at St James' Park in April 2016.
The Welsh club enjoyed an impressive end to the transfer window, as they secured the deadline day signings of Wilfried Bony and Renato Sanches.
Both those players are available to make their debuts on Sunday, while Jordan Ayew is also fit, despite missing international duty with Ghana due to a stomach problem.
However, Kyle Bartley, Nathan Dyer and Ki Sung-yueng all remain absent due to injury.
Newcastle secured their first win of the season before the international break by beating West Ham 3-0, but boss Rafael Benitez is likely to be disappointed that he was not able to add to his squad before the close of the transfer window.
Benitez may not be in the dugout for Sunday's match following recent hernia surgery, which means his assistant Miguel Moreno could be in charge at the Liberty Stadium.
Aleksandar Mitrovic will definitely miss the trip to South Wales, as he begins a three-game ban, however Jonjo Shelvey is set to return following a similar suspension.
