EPL: Manchester City 3-1 Arsenal

Aguero and Sane celebrate
Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus grabbed a goal each as Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
De Bruyne fired the hosts ahead on 19 minutes, with Aguero and Jesus on target in the second half either side of an Alexandre Lacazette effort for the Gunners.
City made a strong start and could have been ahead after just two minutes but Aguero shot just wide of the target after being played in by De Bruyne.
Arsenal responded well and Alex Iwobi wasted a decent chance before Mesut Ozil sent an effort wide, but City began to dominate and were rewarded for their efforts as De Bruyne broke the deadlock.
The Belgian playmaker rifled home midway through the first half as City held a deserved lead at the break, although Aaron Ramsey forced Ederson into a fine stop in injury time.
City doubled their advantage within five minutes of the restart as Nacho Monreal was judged to have brought Raheem Sterling down inside the area.
Aguero's spot kick hit the post and went in, before Arsenal substitute Lacazette gave the Londoners a lifeline within 10 minutes of his introduction.
The league leaders killed the game off with just over 15 minutes remaining as Jesus slotted home from close range after being picked out by David Silva.
Jesus did appear to be offside for the third goal and Arsenal clearly felt the penalty decision was harsh, but in truth the visitors didn't deserve to get anything out of the game as they slipped further behind in the title race.
City remain as the Premier League pacesetters and will have at least a six point lead going into the international break following the conclusion of the latest round of fixtures, while Arsenal are in sixth spot and sit 12 points off top spot.
