EPL: Manchester United 4-1 Newcastle United

Paul Pogba scores fpr Man Utd
Manchester United weathered an early storm before cruising to a comfortable 4-1 win over Newcastle in Saturday's late game.
The big team news revolved around Paul Pogba's return to the United line-up and he started brightly, displaying some nice touches in midfield but it was the visitors who took a surprise lead after 14 minutes.
DeAndre Yedlin was the architect, sliding the ball in from the right and Dwight Gayle was there to place home off the post.
Victor Lindelof, who slipped in the build-up to the Newcastle goal, almost made amends, floating a beautiful ball into Romelu Lukaku but his header was off target.
Slowly but surely United were working their way into the game and grabbed an equaliser on 37 minutes when Pogba danced down the right and his fellow Frenchman Anthony Martial was there to nod home at the far post.
The Red Devils then went ahead in first-half stoppage time as Chris Smalling nodded home Ashley Young's cross.
It was more of the same after the break and Pogba made the points safe on 54 minutes, tapping home Marcus Rashford's wonderfully cushioned knockdown from Lukaku's cross.
United were now rampant, and Lukaku made it 4-1 after 71 minutes, smashing home from close range after nice interplay with Juan Mata.
There was even time for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be given a run out and he almost grabbed a goal through a bicycle kick, only for Rob Elliot to save well.
In the end it was a deserved three points for Jose Mourinho's men who closed the gap between themselves and Manchester City to eight points.
